One of my all time favorites - One in a Million displays a rare, perfectly balanced stellar dendrite snowflake photographed in Oulu on 24 January 2025 at –7 °C. Stacked from 67 individual images, the crystal reveals exceptional symmetry, intricate branching, and a beautifully detailed center structure. Unlike most of your snowflakes caught directly from the air, this one was discovered resting on a snowbank, which makes it even more special.

Stellar Ice Bloom presents a fernlike stellar dendrite snowflake photographed on 2 January 2025 in Oulu at –12 °C. Stacked from 48 images, the crystal shows a gently flower‑shaped center, a subtle and uncommon feature for this type. Its delicate branching and natural symmetry make it a quietly captivating example of snowflake photography, well suited for calm, winter‑inspired interiors.

The Mosaic brings together a selection of the finest small plate‑shaped snow crystals I’ve ever photographed, gathered into a single composition. These very small snow crystals are ca. 1-2 mm in diameter in real life and difficult to photograph, but often offer some astonishing surprises in their center structure.

Our Products

All prints featured on this site are handcrafted, packaged, and shipped by Dialab in Helsinki, Finland. Dialab is the Finland’s only Hahnemühle-certified Fine Art print studio, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and archival quality.

Each photograph is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic, a premium fine art paper with a distinctive silvery shimmer and high‑gloss metallic surface. Made from natural white cotton without optical brighteners, it delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and exceptional detail—perfect for reflective or icy subjects like snowflakes.

The framed art prints are professionally Kapa mounted onto a lightweight, rigid foam board known as Kapa board, which keeps the artwork perfectly flat, clean and provides a premium, polished appearance.

The aluwood frame combines the benefits of wood and aluminium, with the aluminium body making the framed prints lightweight and more durable than traditional wooden frames.

Every product is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
